Southside Community Center - San Marcos, TX

Southside Community Center of San Marcos is asking Rio Texas Conference United Methodist Churches to send groups to a summer ministry camp for youth ages 12-18.

Groups will stay on campus at Texas State University. They will complete mission projects during the day while learning leadership skills. After their ministry work, campers enjoy recreational activities at Schlitterbahn and the San Marcos River.

Mission projects include but are not limited to home improvement repairs such as painting, ramp installation, flooring, window repairs, and much more for disadvantaged residents.

The Southside Community Center was established 20 years ago and is still serving the San Marcos Southside area.
