What Are These Priorities?

The Strategic Priorities are a proposed set of shared focus areas intended to help align and strengthen the work of the Rio Texas Conference. They are being developed by the Strategic Priorities Task Force on behalf of the Uniting Table and are meant to guide our conference as we continue moving Adelante — forward together — in ministry.

These priorities are still evolving, and feedback from across the conference will help shape their final form.

Why Now?

As the Rio Texas Conference looks to the future, we are seeking to listen carefully to voices across our connection. By gathering input from clergy, laity, and conference leaders, we hope to ensure that the priorities guiding our work reflect the lived experiences, hopes, and needs of our churches and communities.

This process is designed to help us move forward together with greater clarity, connection, and shared purpose.

How You Can Participate

There are several ways to engage in this process:

An Invitation from the Uniting Table

Members of the Rio Texas Conference Uniting Table invite you to participate in Listening Sessions focused on proposed Strategic Priorities for the future of our conference.

These priorities grew out of reflection by the Bishop, Cabinet, and Uniting Table and are offered as a starting point for conversation across the conference. Your voice and perspective are important in shaping what comes next.
