Rio Texas Youth Ministry Council
Working with God and neighbor as we
share Christ’s love, grow as Jesus’ Disciples, and transform the world
This team consists of youth (7th-12th grade) and adults from across the Rio Texas Conference. These youth are leaders who want to make a difference in the United Methodist Church. Youth are confirmed members in their local church and serve in their local churches, their district, the conference, and beyond. The council consists of youth from each of the seven Rio Texas conference districts and reflects the diversity of our conference. Members of this council serve as representatives to the annual conference and have opportunities to attend jurisdictional and global events. This group meets monthly (online and in person)
Mental Health Matters
One of our goals is to bring more awareness regarding students’ mental health and provide more resources to those who need them. We want to make sure our resources are available and accessible to all who need them. We hope you find these resources helpful as you help us further our mission of making resources available to all who seek them.
