The Nominations Committee is responsible for identifying, recruiting, and presenting a slate of nominees for leadership positions across the Río Texas Annual Conference. The committee works to ensure each slate reflects diverse representation by district, gender, clergy/laity status, race, ethnicity, and age.

The committee is chaired by Bishop Cynthia Fierro Harvey and led by Abel Vega, Jr., Director of Mission, Service & Justice Ministries.
