Ministerio Pan de Vida

The churches of the Rio Texas Annual Conference are working to create fresh expressions of church, taking the gospel to where the people are. El Divino Redentor, McAllen Pan de Vida ministry is a two-year old effort for residents in Mission who do not belong to a church. 
 
Pan de Vida (Bread of Life) provides an intimate outdoor space in a tent for these faithful Children of Christ. The church provides a space for worship complete with projectors, screens, t-shirts, outdoor string lights. The worship experience is filled with family, food, and fellowship. 
 
“We are very grateful for this opportunity,” said El Divino Redentor UMC member Benigno Hernandez. “Six families are currently attending, and we are adding more.”
