Join us as we celebrate our Rio Texas Conference Confirmands! We will begin our day with a welcome for everyone at 9:30 am with registration in the IGNITE Worship Space (Red square on Main building map). Right at 10 am, we will start with a brief welcome; right after, we will break into groups and anticipate the following rotations:
· Q&A with Bishop Harvey
· Loving Boldly
· Mission: Put meals together
· Methodist trivia
Lunch will be provided, and we will close the afternoon with worship and acknowledgement of our Confirmands from this year, as well as the previous two years.
Confirmands will receive a small gift to commemorate their Confirmation. This is not intended to be a class but a celebration of everything the Confirmands have learned and experienced.
The event is free, but we encourage each Confirmation group to hold a monetary fundraiser among friends and family, bring cash or checks to the event, and place them in the offering. The offering will support Christ's Kitchen, a local ministry that provides warm meals to people in need. Bring what God has placed in your heart.
