The Mission Breakfast is a time to gather for breakfast, storytelling, and conversation during the 2026 Rio Texas Annual Conference. This year’s theme invites us to reflect on what it means to move forward with hope while building the Beloved Community together.

Hosted by the Rio Texas Conference Transforming Communities and Uniting Peoples Vision Teams and the Anti-Racism & Equity Coalition, this complimentary breakfast is made possible through the generous support of Methodist Healthcare Ministries of South Texas. Registration is required so we can plan appropriately for seating and breakfast.

About the Theme

“Power without love is reckless and abusive, and love without power is sentimental and anemic.”
— Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.

The Beloved Community is not just a future hope. It is a present calling. Rooted in the love of Christ, it calls us to pursue justice, equity, and flourishing for all people.

What would it look like for our churches and communities to live this out together?
