Dear Clergy and Laity of the Rio Texas Annual Conference,

In accordance with ¶603.5 of The United Methodist Book of Discipline, I hereby call for a special session of the Rio Texas Annual Conference on Sunday, October 20, 2024 beginning at 3:00 p.m. CDT. The special session will be conducted online and shall include and be limited to the following business:

• Voting on the Rio Texas Conference Board of Trustees' recommendations for the churches leaving under the separation agreement.

Delegates who attended the June 2024 annual conference are invited to attend. Delegates will receive more information next week on how to register and attend. We anticipate this online special session of annual conference to last approximately 30 minutes.
