During the Rio Texas Annual Conference, the Transforming Communities Vision Team invites you to the annual Mission Breakfast, Friday, June 9 at 7:00 am at the American Bank Center, Corpus Christi. The Mission Breakfast theme is Seeking Shalom at the Table and Beyond: Courage to Listen, Courage to Speak.
To bring a blessing to annual conference delegates and guests amid this challenging moment in our history as the United Methodist Church, the Transforming Communities Vision Team desires to make this Mission Breakfast experience available to all as a safe space to have the courage to listen and speak to one another in discerning a desired future for the church.
During the Mission Breakfast, the Transforming Communities Vision Team seeks:
to bring people together for a collaborative conversation that will identify shared hope and participate in the formation of transformative projects that will strengthen our connections and assist in the discovery of Shalom within the Rio Texas Conference and
to offer hope through the discovery of direction and new possibility amid a changing reality within the Rio Texas Conference.
