St. Luke’s UMC Gethsemane Campus (https://www.stlukesmethodist.org/gethsemane/) of Houston, TX is seeking a full-time Youth Director. Nestled in the heart of one of Houston’s most diverse neighborhoods, the people of Gethsemane are a family in Jesus, pouring themselves out in generosity and service to bring the good news of Jesus Christ. Gethsemane represents over 20 nationalities and worships each week in English, Spanish, and Swahili.

The Youth Director works with youth, volunteers, and families to design and implement appropriate, contextual, relational youth ministry in the Sharpstown and Gulfton neighborhoods of Houston. The Youth Director will focus primarily on relationships and programs and will communicate intentionally with other staff, parents, volunteers, and laity in a way that builds excitement and confidence in the youth ministry. This role requires an individual to have leadership, collaborative, and communication gifts.
