Preschool Director

Universal City United Methodist Preschool is seeking qualified applicants for the position of Preschool Director. UCUM Preschool is a part time program for three-five year olds. The preschool is accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children. The position begins June 1, 2019.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Early Childhood Education or Elementary Education
Experience in an NAEYC accredited program
FBI, DPS/Central Registry background checks.

Hours and Salary:
*Preschool is not in session in June and July. The director is paid 1/4 the monthly salary for each of those months to prepare for the beginning of school, facilitate tours of the preschool, and to accomplish routine tasks. Hours are not specified.
*The director is paid in ten equal payments for ten months, August through May. Hours are 7:30 AM- 4:00 PM.
*Salary is determined by education, experience at UCUM Preschool and/or experience in other early childhood programs. The minimum salary is $26,000 with raises planned yearly.
