Family Ministry Media Intern

Gruene United Methodist Church is seeking a Family Ministry Media Intern for the Summer of 2023.

With supervision and support from the Family Ministry Directors (Nursery, Children’s, and Student) The Media Intern will:

● Attend programming for all Family Ministry summer activities ● Capture photos and videos of all Family Ministry summer events ● Carry out media & outreach tasks (e-mails, social media, etc.) ● Engage with children, teenagers, and parents

The Media Intern will be someone who: ● Has graduated high school. ● Seeks a committed relationship to Jesus Christ and is committed to setting that example ● Has a passion for photography, social media, and outreach ● Is self-motivated ● Has good leadership, communication and organizational skills

The Media Intern will: ● Receive a $3,000 salary for the summer ● Be held accountable to their duties by the Family ministry Directors ● Work from Sunday, May 14th thru Sunday, August 13th ● Work approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, and some overnight trips ● Attend Sunday 9:30am children small groups, 11:00 am service, and 5:30 PM Student Ministry program ● Submit to a criminal background check ● Complete required safety training
