Youth Ministry Director

BUMC is seeking a Youth Ministry Director.

The Youth Ministry Director (YMD) shall seek to foster a Christian Community at BUMC through building relationships with the youth that strengthens their commitment to the church and growth in faith in Jesus Christ. The YMD will seek to enhance this ministry with well–balanced programs for youth that encourage their increased participation in a variety of faith-development activities. Such activities will seek to win the lost to Christ, help those who are Christians to mature in Christ, create and develop a sense of belonging, celebrate life in Christ, provide nurture, foster witnessing and serving, develop leadership and discipleship, and help youth discover the personal gifts and abilities which God has blessed them with. This position requires a minimum of a bachelor’s degree.
