Contemporary Worship Leader

North Shore UMC Canyon Lake, Texas seeks a Worship Leader for Contemporary Worship.
Description: To lead others to a deeper connection with Jesus Christ through worship and creative interaction. Compensation: Commensurate with experience

Essential Functions: Worship Planning and Implementation
• Coordinate and organize the functional planning of contemporary worship services.
• Serve as the primary contact for contemporary worship services, providing proactive, timely and effective verbal, written, and digital communication within the worship team.
• Coordinate and conduct practice sessions weekly. Foster growing participation and enthusiasm of contemporary music and worship programs.
• Other duties in support of the mission of the church, as assigned.
Qualifications:
• Active and mature faith in Jesus Christ; understanding and agreement of Wesleyan theology
• Genuine love of Christian music, passion for worship, and vision for their integration into the church * Knowledge of Planning Center and ProPresenter.
