Church Planter Discernment Workshop December (formerly, New Church Leadership Institute, NCLI)

This two-day workshop helps participants sharpen their discernment questions around exploring a call to start a new church. Topics are designed to make each participant reflect on their own gifts and calling and seek guidance toward greater clarity and ask the question, ‘Do I have what it takes?’The format places participants elbow to elbow with other aspiring church planters and encourages interaction-based learning.

o Your Leadership DNA

o How You Are “Hard-Wired”

o You Can’t Reach Everyone, So Who Can You Reach? A study in “Personal Affinity”

o Your Leadership Style & Why It Matters

o Ministry Behaviors That Matter

o The Types of New Churches

SELF-REFLECTIVE ESSAY

Since this workshop is reflective in nature, it’s designed to help the participants “process as they go” through the material. Some length of time is given for participants to reflect and record their learnings. Please bring appropriate materials.

Schedule: February 19-20

Day One: 9:00 AM – 5 PM

Day Two: 9:00 AM – 4 PM

Registration Fee (online registration only, no walk-ins)

o $175 outside of Rio Texas Conference (Reach out to your Conference for available scholarships).

o $75 from Rio Texas Conference (Limited scholarships available).

o After January 16, $250
