Training is one of the four pillars of the preliminary Rio Texas Child, Youth, and Vulnerable Adult safety policy.
Safety Training is part of the three step certification process. This certification ministry, Trusted con Confianza, requires 3-4 hours of online or in person training every two years. For information on this process, check out: riotexas.org/safesteps
Trusted con Confianza training (Step 3)
After completing the Safe Gatherings application and reviewing Safe Gathering's online safety training, persons will attend a TRUSTed con Confianza training. This training can be completed in 3 separate sessions (1 hour each) or persons can choose to complete the training via one longer session (2 hours).
