Mission & Purpose

Our mission is to "Reach Youth for Christ." Midwinter Retreats are sponsored by the Southwest Texas Conference of the United Methodist Church Council on Youth Ministry. Midwinters are spiritual retreats which include renewal, awesome worship, inspiring speakers and a chance to meet new friends.

Cost & Scholarships

Cost is $115 for youth 18 years and under, and college-age 18-22 years. $100 for pre-approved Work Crew and all adult staff. Scholarships are available at the District or Conference offices or by contacting your local church pastor or youth leader. Registration deadline is 7 working days prior to start of camp. (Refunds are for emergencies only and exclude $20.)

Age Requirements & Over Flow

The Midwinter Mixed weekend retreats include youths in 6th thru 12th grades. Often, our Midwinters get to over-flow capacity pretty quickly. Our philisophy is to do everything in our ability not to put a cap limit on these Midwinters. As a result, we often bring in cots for sleeping. Sometimes showers can be hard to come by during these weekends. We strive to create the best, safest, and most Christ-centered retreats possible.
