Family Ministries Worship Pastor

Highland Park UMC, in Dallas, is seeking a Full-time Family Ministries Worship Pastor.

This worship pastor is responsible for helping lead congregants a part of Family Ministry into a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ. The worship pastor will plan and execute all worship environments for both youth and college ministry, including special events. Planning will be accomplished in coordination with the HPUMC Youth and Wesley House staff. This pastor will develop both youth and college worship bands to plan and lead worship independently. This position will also collaborate with other staff on general discipleship and church-wide programs.
The Family Ministries Worship Pastor must thrive in a fast-paced, highly relational, creative environment with tight deadlines and busy schedules. Due to the nature of youth and college ministry, early mornings, late nights, weekends, and week-long out-of-town events are regular. Office hours will be determined with these factors in mind.
