The arrival of fall means a new liturgical year is just around the corner. We are excited to have Dr. Allen from Perkins School of Theology offer homiletical strategies for preaching from the Gospel of Luke in Advent and Christmas and look ahead toward the rest of the church calendar. The workshop will consider both lectionary and sermon series options.  It is open to all clergy and laity who preach on a regular basis or want to increase their preaching experience.

Dr.O. Wesley Allen, Jr., is the Lois Craddock Professor of Homiletics at Perkins School of Theology, Southern Methodist University. Wes has written and edited over twenty books and specializes in homiletical use of the Synoptic Gospels.
