Q: How do I vote during Annual Conference 2021?
You will need to open a separate browser tab to access your voting credentials from DOTS.
Or you can use a separate device like a smartphone to access your voting credential email from DOTS.
Q: What is DOTS?
DOTS stands for Data On the Spot. They will supply your voting credentials with a unique elector username and password.
The email containing your Annual Conference voting credentials will come from Data on the Spot with the subject line: Credentials Test.
Please be on the lookout for this email. It will arrive before Annual Conference.
Please check your Junk/Spam folder as this often ends up there.
Q: I have not received my voting credentials! Where are they?
The email should have come from Data on the Spot with the subject line: Credentials Test. If you have not already checked your Junk or Spam folder, please do so.
If you have not received voting credentials, that could be for several reasons:
1. You are not eligible to vote (Alternate Delegates & some Clergy are not eligible to vote).
2. We do not have the correct email address for you.
3. The email is in your Junk/Spam folder.
4. Your email server blocked this mass email.
Q: I am an alternate delegate. Where are my voting credentials?
Alternate delegates do not receive voting credentials since an alternate is not eligible to vote.
If your church needs to substitute the alternate for the delegate, we need confirmation from the church pastor. We need complete contact information sent to Nan Pyle at npyle@riotexas.org
Q: I should have received voting credentials. Where are they?
If you believe you should have voting credentials and you do not, email credentials@dataonthespot.com to request your credentials to vote at the Rio Texas Annual Conference 2021. You can call DOTS Support at 1-833-363-7123
