CBP 1 App Good or Bad?
The opportunity to seeking asylum at the border is dependent on the Customs and Border Patrol app, CBP 1 app at this time. The app is not all bad, but certainly not all good either. Amy Fischer and Tom Cartwright will walk us through the app’s positive aspects and its pitfalls and how it functions.
Amy Fischer is the director of Refuge and Migrant Rights at Amnesty International USA located in Washington, D.C. Tom Cartwright of Witness at the Border is a retired financial executive from Columbus, Ohio. He is now a global refugee advocate. He travels several times a year to volunteer in refugee camps in Greece, and lobbies regularly for the rights of migrants in the halls of Congress in Washington, D.C.
