Luke Edwards, author of Becoming Church, will be joining us in Rio Texas on Oct. 5th from 1-3pm via zoom as he shares the concepts of his book…how to start new Fresh Expressions in your community.  We have learned that these smaller community gatherings, tethered to existing churches (and often lead by laity), are very effective in reaching new people and making disciples of Jesus Christ. 

Everyone who attends this event live will receive a copy of the book! 

Then, starting in November, any church who is interested in being a part of a 3 month cohort (November, January, February)  will walk through the process of starting a Fresh Expression and will be eligible to receive a micro grant in 2022 to help fund the project.  Each church will need 3 committed people to participate – 2 laity and one clergy. More information on the cohort will be presented on Oct. 5th.
