Asylum at the border: What’s the law got to do with it?

TBCN presents a webinar engaging legal practitioners in South Texas for a status report regarding the impact of COVID-19, MPP, and current administrative policies on the fate of asylum seekers. 

Panelists will also be asked to share informed opinions regarding needed immigration reforms to restore—not what was with regard to asylum protections—what could be, if we take seriously the moniker “Mother of Exiles” bestowed on Lady Liberty.  Finally, panelists will respond to the broader work of TBCN and how it can enhance their work to secure due process for the most vulnerable.
