We are really excited that Rev. Dr. Phil Maynard, as a follow up to his teaching session at Annual Conference, will be leading a one-day workshop, “From Membership to Discipleship,” at First United Methodist Church, Johnson City! Dr. Maynard is author of the book Shift, Director of the Coaching Network, Church Strategist for Path 1 (GBOD), and Director of Excellence in Ministry. Through the efforts of the Rio Texas Conference Mission Vitality Center, Dr. Maynard’s knowledge…, passion and experience is being made available to all clergy and laity throughout our Conference. Come, and learn more about how to lead your church from an attitude of “membership” to the vitality of “discipleship” at a workshop to be held on Wednesday, September 30th.
