Children's Ministry Intern

Gruene United Methodist Church is seeking a Children's Ministry Intern for the Summer of 2025.

This is a paid, part-time position. A housing option may be possible.

With supervision and support from the Director of Children’s Ministry,

The Children’s Ministry Intern will:
● Assist with programming for summer activities
● Help plan and implement weekly Sunday Small groups
● Carry out administration & outreach tasks (e-mails, phone calls, etc.)
● Help build Christ Centered relationships with children and families

The Children’s Ministry Intern will be someone who:
● Has graduated high school
● Seeks a committed relationship to Jesus Christ and is committed to setting that example
● Has a passion for Children and is available to their needs
● Is self-motivated
● Has good leadership, communication and organizational skills

The Children’s Ministry Intern will:
● Be held accountable to their duties by the Director of Children’s Ministry
● Work from Monday, May 19th thru Sunday, August 10th
(including some evenings and weekends)
● Assist with 9:30 Children’s Small groups each Sunday morning
● Attend 11am worship each Sunday
● Submit to a criminal background check
● Complete required safety training
