SUMMER MINISTRY INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Boerne First United Methodist Church is searching for summer interns for the 2017 season. The internship will begin Tuesday May 30, 2017 and conclude Sunday, August 20, 2017.  The salary for the summer interns will be $3000.00 for the summer.  All planned events will be paid for by the church.  Student Ministry will arrange room and board if necessary, please indicate that need on the application.

Our intern’s responsibilities are important.  They are as follows:

1.    Assist Director with execution of all summer programming.

2.    Build relationships with students. 

3.    In those relationships, intend to have students experience Christ. 

There are high expectations for our interns.  In order to lead students, our interns will be expected to live a life above reproach without a hint of immorality.  We expect the intern to have an active relationship with the Lord in prayer, bible study, with a church, and living in the Kingdom.

Enclosed is the church’s application.  Please fill it out and respond to the following statements and questions.  A résumé may be attached as well.  Please return the application by mail or e-mail to the Director by April 30th.
