Thank you for your interest in joining Rio Texas as a virtual Ministry Group! This year we are utilizing the Whova event app. This app adds opportunities for our delegates and guests to connect to one another and connect to Ministry Groups. Below you will find instructions and helpful information you will need to join us this year.

Registration

Registration is easy! The first step is to fill out the form at the bottom of this page. From there, conference staff will verify that your request follows our AC Ministry Group Guidelines (see below). Once that verification is made, you will receive an email inviting you to set up your virtual vendor space. All Ministry Groups are responsible for setting up their own virtual spaces. (We have provided a link to a set-up guide below.) Processing Ministry Group requests can take up to 3 business days.

The last day to submit a request to be a Virtual Exhibitor is May 28, 2024. If you have any questions, please use the contact form found on THIS page to contact George Ballard.

There is no cost for Virtual Ministry Groups to join Whova.

Whova Exhibitor Guide

Ministry Group Guidelines

Virtual Space is provided at Annual Conference where goods and services, within the tradition of The United Methodist Church, may be shared and sold. These goods and services are to promote the life and ministry of the church. In an effort to accomplish that goal, the following guidelines have been established. These guidelines apply to in-person and virtual Annual Conference gatherings.

Ministry Organizations consist of groups that represent or support ministries of The United Methodist Church general agencies, Rio Texas Conference, Districts, or local congregations. Participating groups offering/displaying materials CANNOT contain any profanity, nudity, or alcohol-related products

The Annual Conference is a time of God’s affirmation and reunion. We reserve the right, through our representatives, to deny or to close any virtual exhibit booth. All virtual exhibitors must use the form below to request space at the Annual Conference. The Conference will process all requests, and approval through the offices of the Area Bishop and Conference Secretary before space will be provided.
