Part-Time Director of Music Ministries
First United Methodist Church is seeking a dedicated leader for Part-Time Director of Music Ministries. The incumbent must have demonstrated ability to rehearse and direct choral and instrumental musicians and work with people of all ages and musical backgrounds. Individual must have proven skills for researching music issues and programs related to the congregation and community. Will coordinate worship music with the Senior and Associate Pastors. Will rehearse and direct the chancel choir for 10:45 a.m. traditional worship and supervise and collaborate with musicians including the organist/accompanist, children’s choir leader, handbell choir director and contemporary worship music leader. Must have Bachelor’s degree in music, equivalent experience, or be currently enrolled in a music degree program with voice emphasis.
