Gruene United Methodist Church is seeking a Children’s Ministry Intern for the Summer of 2023.

With supervision and support from the Director of Children’s Ministry, The Children’s Ministry Intern will: ● Assist with programming for summer activities ● Help plan and implement weekly Sunday Small groups ● Carry out administration & outreach tasks (e-mails, phone calls, etc.) ● Help build Christ Centered relationships with children and families

The Children’s Ministry Intern will be someone who: ● Has graduated high school ● Seeks a committed relationship to Jesus Christ and is committed to setting that example ● Has a passion for Children and is available to their needs ● Is self-motivated ● Has good leadership, communication and organizational skills

The Children’s Ministry Intern will: ● Receive a $3,000 salary for the summer ● Be held accountable to their duties by the Director of Children’s Ministry ● Work from Sunday, May 14th thru Sunday, August 13th ● Work approximately 20-25 hours per week, including weekends and some evenings ● Attend 9:30 Children’s Small groups each Sunday morning ● Submit to a criminal background check ● Complete required safety training
