Director of Care Ministries
We are seeking to hire a Director of Care Ministries to begin July 1. This position is for a high-capacity, creative and positive Christian seeking to share God’s love with a heart for Wesleyan practical divinity, living out his or her faith in servant leadership, with an emphasis on one-on-one and relational caregiving. The Director of Care works closely with the Pastoral Staff and is a vital part of this team. Willingness to train in Stephen Ministry and a passion for community connections are a must. The Director of Care is responsible for job and divorce support groups, special needs ministries, and memorial service and reception care. This role involves supervisory duties of Bethany’s dementia respite care staff, including strategizing for development and funding. He or she will share responsibilities in financial assistance ministries, budgeting, volunteer recruitment, training and coordination. This position allows flexible work hours with necessary hours on Sundays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays, and other days as needs arise.
