The Rio Texas Conference Job Opportunity: Disaster Recovery – Construction Project Manager(s) in Sinton, TX and Victoria, TX

JOB SUMMARY

Rio Texas Conference Disaster Recovery – Construction Project Manager will work with the disaster response efforts in assisting communities impacted Hurricane Harvey in 2017. The Manager will collaborate with the Disaster Recovery - Construction Supervisor, the Disaster Recovery - Case Management Supervisor, and the Disaster Recovery Resource Manager regarding the coordination of identified volunteer teams for assignment and placement in field work sites. This person will serve three primary functions in the recovery effort: a.) they will assist in providing detailed estimates of the cost of making repairs to damaged homes of clients served by Rio Texas Conference case managers; b.) they will coordinate and provide logistical support to construction teams; c.) they will identify particular skills needed for home construction repairs to make available for volunteer recruitment. The manager will work with survivors impacted by Hurricane Harvey to provide home repairs that will allow them to reestablish normalcy.
