Five-Day Academy for Spiritual Formation

Worshipping Community

Experience 16 worship services including daily Eucharist, in a rhythm of prayer and study, silent reflection and holy hilarity, solitude and community. Each day two faculty will present Christ-centered study and spirit-enlivening empowerment for the gathered community.

Peaceful Environment

The Oblate Renewal Center provides an atmosphere of quiet, peace, and hospitality radiating from this oasis of sacred ground. It is a source of strength for the mind, the body, and the spirit...a place where your soul can soar while your body finds peace and refreshment. A sheltered arcade connects the stucco and tin roofed buildings of the retreat center. Ample walkways meander through the 41 acres that are also home to the Oblate School of Theology. It is a wooded, inviting landscape that includes trees, plants, and flowers native to South Texas and an outdoor environment for Stations of the Cross. The center is located only 15 minutes from the San Antonio International Airport.
